Instagram Crushes

HEY remember when I existed?

Yea, me either.

ANYWAY I'm hopping on here to say what's up and to empty my phone.

I don't know about you but when I scroll thru instagram (a MILLION times a day) I screen shot cute things or stuff I want to look up later or things I want to attempt in my own life.

And in the interest of not using ALL of my phone's memory and because I want to share them with you I'm adding them on here! FYI some of these are NAHT recent. And since instagram has no dates, only age of pictures, who knows if you'll be able to find them on there. Plus I'll be pinning them all so I can actually keep track of them. Feel free to pin them too!

So here they are! A lot of these are from my favorite instagram accounts too so you should follow them. Also longest post ever because I have so many pictures. This isn't even all of them!

Stuff I'm Bad At

I'm posting 3 weekdays in a row guys!! I may even post tomorrow as well. 2014 is CRAY.

I don't know about you guys but there are some normal, everyday things that people do without thinking but for some reason, it turns disastrous for me.

1. Grocery shopping. Yea, I know, just make a list. I do. I swear tho, I can't fucking do it. I don't know how it goes wrong but it always does. If I don't have a list, fucking forget it. If I do, I still end up screwing things up. Por ejemplo:

2. Wearing appropriate shoes. I wanna wear heels when I have to walk 3 miles. I want to wear suede flats when it's raining. I want to wear TOMS when we go to dinner. I have a lot of shoes. And I love them. And will plan outfits around them, despite the practicality.

3. Purchasing clothes I’ll actually wear. I get so caught up in sparkles and patterns and pretty color that I buy things and then a year and a half later I don’t wear them. But I keep them usually, in case there is a sudden trend for bright purple baggy silk shirts. If something is on sale for a great price, I’m gonna buy it. If it says Kate Spade on the label, I’m gonna buy it. If it’s got sequins, I’m (usually) gonna buy it.

4. Mailing things. Thank you cards from my birthday (Nov 25th), clothes Tori left at my apartment 2 years ago, gym membership (that I stopped using 2.5 years ago) cancellation letter. It’s annoying. The post office is around the corner from my apartment but it’s open M-F 9-5. I HAVE A JOB MOFOS.

5. Not eating when I’m not hungry. I mean I’m hungry ALWAYS. But when I’m eating something yummy it is SO hard to stop myself. And it’s not so much sweets (unless you’re talking baby snickers) it’s hamburgers, fries, sushi, garlic mashed potatoes, chips and French onion dip or guac, and Tom’s mom’s cheeseball. IT’S SO HARD. I try tho! I make Tom take food away from me, I walk away from it. I make other people eat it. It’s just soooo yummmmmmy.

I'll insta Your gram

Hmmm. K guys. Remember when I said Bikram Yoga was gonna be my new thing? And it was $15 a month? Well. I made that up. Not on purpose. I'm just an idiot. It's $160 a month. So yea. I'm not doing that. Although there is a 2 week unlimited trial period I'll prob do. Thank Christ I didn't buy the yoga mat I was looking at. And thank you to Kristine, Kerry, Kate and Tori for making me want to double check the pricing. Soooo. Yea.

products were provided for review. all opinions are my own.

Nothing is worse than taking down Christmas decorations. Well maybe except for going back to work after a 10 day staycation. But still, it sucks.

It leaves everything looking so empty. But I have a solution for you! Kinda. I mean most people don’t have Christmas art hung on the walls but if you DO have a blank wall- I have a great way for you to fill it!

Printstagram is an amazing site that you can order prints of your Instagram photos from! There are different sized prints, and there are also some cool new options that I’m kind of obsessed with (including business cards, a desk calendar and stickers!)

I got the 4x4 square prints and the tinybook. The 4x4 prints were perfect for a wall in our bedroom plus I happened to get a couple of 4x4 picture frames for Christmas that were perfect!

I measured/leveled out a tape grid on my wall with painters tape and made a mini gallery wall! I love it. And it makes me so happy to look at.

The with the tinybook, you get three tinnies. They give you the option to have 3 unique books (they choose the order of the pictures at random) or 2 identical books. I did 3 identical ones because I gave one to Tom’s sister, one to Tom’s mom and kept one for us.

They’re so freakin cute and they’re magnetic! Ours is on our fridge and every once and a while I’ll flip thru a bit of it and it makes me smile.

It’s a super easy process too. You log into instagram and pick the pictures you want in your order. You can pick doubles or multiples if you want to!

So are you into this yet?! Well, I’m giving away a $34 credit so GET INTO IT. That’s enough to cover the almost everything they offer plus shipping! Or you can get two things!

Meet A DIY Queen and Self Proclaimed Cat Lady!

Happy New Year! (a week late)

Ok so that time I didn't post until a week into the new year? Yea. Sorry bout it. I actually have a lot of shiz queued up to talk about. In fact, I wrote up a post about all the things to come and then didn’t finish it and never published it.

BUT I’m here now and I have some stuff to tell you about. In a mostly timely manner.

1.  I have a bunch of DIYs to share
2. I have a giveaway coming up that’s really cool
3. I’m gonna start doing Bikram Yoga
4. I have an etsy shop to share with you that sells golden unicorns, dinosaurs and kittens

So yea. I can recap the Holidays but I don’t know if I will/if they were really worth recapping. I will be starting yoga on Monday. I’m not thrilled about it but Tom says I should do that since it’s $15 a month instead of $50 for the gym near us and it’s across the street from our apartment. Plus I’m already paying $15 a month to a gym I haven’t gone to in 2.5 years. That’s around $450. YIKES. I never calculated that before. Feck. I need to end that IMMEDIATELY.

So now I’m going to the post office to drop off my membership cancellation and order an extra thick yoga mat off amazon. WOO.
