Bachelorette Shanananaas 2

Here is the obviously much anticipated second bachelorette post! You can find the first one here.

I left off after Saturday's time at the beach. We all came back to the cottage and showered and got all pretty. Everyone looked very cute!
The cousins!
We headed out to din in Niantic, a restaurant called the Main Street Grille. It was delish.
After din we crossed the street to party with Niantic's finest at the Black Sheep. It was hilarious and so fun and there were a ton of creepers and a lot of drinks.
First shot of the night!
We forgot to bring the sash and veil M made which was a bummer BUT a few of the girls are fucking genius and walked down the street to CVS and got a pashmina and glitter glue and MADE ONE IN THE PARKING LOT. This is just one of the reasons I already love these girls!

her infamous face.
awkward smiles

We closed out the bar and headed back to the cottage. The combo of sun and booze pretty much exhuasted everyone so we all talked for a while and went to bed.

Sunday morning was a bit of a harder start. One of the bridemaids who wasn't feeling great and didn't come out with us to the bar got up and set up a breakfast spread for us!

We were all moving pretty slow but a bunch of the girls had to leave pretty early. L and two of the other girls headed to the beach while we cleaned up the cottage. It was quick work.

Then we were down to 5. We wanted to get lunch before the last 3 girls headed out on the train but before that, came the last Icing of the weekend.
Making sure she looked good for the ocassion.

such a champ
struggles.
Then we headed to lunch which was fucking delicious. I got a clam strip roll. DYING. I want another one right meow. After lunch, M, L and I finished packing up and headed home.

Not before getting ice cream tho. We went back to the place we got lunch and tried ordering ice cream. By then we were all over tired, delusional and L was a little drunk.

We looked like assholes. And we could not stop laughing. I told L she looked like she just arrived in town after a trashy Vegas wedding.
messsssy
We FINALLY got on the road, hit traffic, took a detour, and got home. We had din at L and Tom's parents house and recounted the weekend.

L had drunk dialed her mom and it turns out she just made shit up so we had to set things straight as straight as we could.

It was suchhhhh an incredible weekend and I was so happy to be a part of it! Everyone was awesome, and I geniunely liked everybody! (which doesn't happen often) Thank you all for being great guests, thank you to the MOH and M for being great hosts, thank you to L's parents and fam for letting us use the cottage for the weekend's festivities and mostly, thank you L for being SO FUCKING COOL. Love you all, can't wait for the wedding!!!

How Do I Look?

Oh, is something different around here? I didn’t notice.

NAHT! I’M SO EXCITEDDDDDDD

Laura, who I LOVELOVELOELOVE, designed my blog for me!!!

I’m dying. Are you dying? I love it. Do you love it?

It’s perf and she’s perf and YAY!

Ok lemme calm down. MMMM not happening. So let’s just get to it.

When I started this blog I was awed by everyone else’s custom designs but it seemed like everyone I met did their own designing. So I was like “oh I can TOTALLY do this! I’m good at computer shit.”

FALSE. I mean I’m getting better the longer I blog and the more friends I make (and the more tutorials Sarah posts) but I knew there were limits because I wasn’t gonna spend hours learning HTML. So I started looking at buying a premade or custom design. I wanted to brand myself as early on as I could but when I saw designs were anywhere from $3 for a custom button to $150 for a full custom design I was like what the fuckkkkkkkk. I’m not making any money on this thing (at least not yet) and I don’t have tons of disposable income (see: vet bills and rawhide bones) so I’m like, "dicks! I’m gonna have to figure it out myself!" THENNN I was like WAIT lemme try Etsy. Best. Decision. Ever. I found Laura’s shop (which changed names while I was working with her and totally confused me!) and it was like the sun broke thru the clouds!

Her prices are awesome and better yet- she’s an incredible designer! I had no real idea of what I wanted so I gave her a lot of VERYY general input and she put something together. She sent me the first version and seeing that helped me figure out some of what I did and didn’t want. Then there was another version. Still more to change and I knew a lot more specifics. I was probably SUCH a pain (sorryboutitLaura!) but she never got impatient or rude. She knows it’s YOUR blog and she wants YOU to be happy!

The third version she sent me was AMAAAZINNGGG! Very close to the final and a COMPLETE turnaround from the second. After a couple tweaks, here we are!

I was worried about getting the design from someone I didn’t know because I knew so little about blog design myself. But she was SO nice and understanding and worked with me on everything I wanted. The end result is a ballin’ (people still say that right?) design and a brand I’m SO happy to put out there!

If you guys are interested in a custom blog design or any other custom elements DEFINITELY check out her design shop, Sophie & Rory. She also has a bunch of amazing premade designs that you can make your own and they are all so cute! She also has her own blog called

Casey and Emily (who is giving away a custom design by Laura RIGHT NOW!) are daily reads of mine and both got their designs from Laura and not only are they happy but their designs are very different than mine. Jenn is also in the process of gettign hers and I know she's excited. No matter what you want Laura’s your girl! Go and say hi on her blog or check out her shop.

That's how I feel when I think about consolidating this weekend into a post. So I'm gonna split it up and I'll try my best to be coherant.

One of the other bridesmaids, L's cousin M came with me down to the cottage on Thursday night. We spent our time grocery shopping, eating, crafting and decorating!

Lobster roll for lunch DUH

Wreath!

Finished mantel!
How fucking adorable is she?
p.s. I'll be adding the tutorials for the wreath, and "Cheers Bitches" banner at some point

All of that was set for Friday when the bride to be arrived with another bridesmaid, and L's mom aka MOB. Since people were getting in from out of town, we had some time to kill. We picked up one more bridesmaid from the train station and headed to a vineyard. (seeing a pattern? vineyards are basically a weekly occurance for me in the summer)

We went to Saltwater Farm Vineyard in Stonington CT. I love this vineyard and L had never been. It was SO fun! We did a tasting and looked at wedding albums of past weddings hosted there. (Don't worry Tom, I'm not making any plans) and then the MOB took us to lunch at this great little place called the Dog right on the water!

Classy

Having a blast but missing 2 bridesmaids!

We went back to the cottage and AS SOON as we got back one of the bridesmaids realized she left her glasses at the vineyard. And not sunglasses. Like she's can't see anyyyything glasses. She felt really bad but that's such a Adriana move, I had no problem going back with her. We jammed out on the hour round trip drive. We also got lost about 50 times and reveresed a little on a highway. It's fine. If you follow me on Vine, you may have seen these but here they are again. Also I realize we think we're hilarious and cool. I will understand if you think we're idiotic and embarrassing.

More girls came friday night including the rest of the bridal party and MOH. Obviously there was a ton of booze and instead of din we did an all night happy hour at the cottage. I made guac, the MOH made INCREDIBLE stuffed mushrooms, there were chips and salsa and a cheese ball and crackers. And then continued to booze into the night.

The next morning the darling bride to be got Iced over breakfast. She clearly enjoyed it.

Then we headed down the road to the beach. It was an INCREDIBLE day. Gorgeous blue sky, not a cloud to be seen and most of the time there was a breeze. I got a bit sunburnned but it wasn't too bad. I also got a mini lecutre from the L that I should have put on suncreen BUT I DID! I just should have applied it like every 10 min because the sun was so strong.

There is a filter BUT STILL!

The rest of the weekend will come in tomorrow's post because I'm exhausted still. Woo.

Sorry, This Ain't Happening

Hope everyone had an amazing weekend! I definitely did. That means I'm exhausted and I'm at work and I hate my life. I'm glad you liked Sarah's guest post on Friday. I can say that cuz I know you all did.

I'll try and be alive again tomorrow but no promises. Also. I haven't checked any emails or social media so I'll try and do those things today.

Thanks for understanding that I'm a mess.

I'll leave you with the pictures I got on Saturday morning.

My dog is a CREEP. Also it looks like Lil was the one taking all the selfies.
