I'm here on Thirsty Thursday because Sarah from Venus Trapped in Mars is a genius. And because I booze a lot. She came up with this incredible award for boozy individuals like myself. I think we all know like 90% of posts, in some capacity, are alcohol related. This wino thing is really starting to pay off. Not only did the creator nominate me but both Chloe and Alyssa nominated me too so I'm gonna go ahead and say I'm flattered and to celebrate I'm poppin' bottles.

My Answers:

1. What is your favorite drinking game and why?
Slap a Hoe and beer ball are probably my fav. I'm good at them and it's really fun to play. Directions for slap a hoe are here (along with a bunch of my other favs) and beer ball directions are here. Beriut (we call it pong) is also a good one but if I win more than 2 games I get bored. Granted it doesn't happen often.

2. It is your birthday, what is your idea of the perfect evening?
I actually pretty much had the perfect birthday 2 years ago. Tom took me to an aquarium and then to din (although we went to the melting pot and spent a bit too long recovering from that. Sorry about the TMI) and then we went back to my apartment where he, my sister and HP had planned a surprise party! My friends and a bunch Tom's cousins were there to help celebrate. We had a LOT of fun then went to a bar that no one goes to and took over. It was amazing. Except for our issues after dinner I would have that be my party every year.

3. Money is no object, what is your go to drink of choice at a bar?
A really good margarita. Top shelf tequila is so fucking wonderful. Also probably tequila shots. Also I'd probably still get my go to: Gin and tonic with St. Germain and a lime.

4. How many times have you played the game "Edward 40 Hands"?
Nevaa. I've watched people do it. In fact I watched one of my best (and dumbest) friends attepmt it with malt liquor. He's still alive tho so that's good.

5. Take this alcohol screening quiz here, what score did you receive?

My score was 15%. "Yes it is a definite sign that your drinking patterns are harmful and possibly considered alcohol dependent or alcoholic." I feel like that's prob about right. Although I feel all the serious questions I answered "no" on. Well besides drinking alone. But who doesn't have a glass of wine or a Godiva on the rocks after their boyfriend and dog have gone to bed...I'm oddly torn by this tho. I don't go out and drink often but when I do I go for it. And I have at least a glass of wine a night. My ~~high school~~ college self would be surprised I didn't score higher.

6. What is your favorite memory with Alcohol?
There are a bunch of amazing times- weddings, Vegas, college. But my favorite one that pops in my head is a night that is referred to as our "Silly Hat Drunk" night. I wasn't dating Tom yet but we were texting non-stop. I was at my best guy friend's house with my 3 best girlfriends from high school. We all got hammered, played drinking games, took too many pictures and played "SHOTS" by LMAFO like 75 times. Fist pumping was obviously involved. It was one of the best nights of my life (it seems silly to say, but really!) and we did basically nothing.

7. What is your favorite song about drinking? Or song to drink to?
Thunderstruck. It's such a fun game and now if the song comes on ANYWHERE I'm like "QUICK! Toss me a natty light and let's get hammered!"

*the game is: you all stand in a circle, when they say "thunder" the first person drinks until they say "lighting" then the next person drinks until they say "thunder" again and it goes until they say "THUNDERSTRUCK" and the person it lands on drinks the whole time.

8. What is your favorite activity to do while drinking (i.e. boating, bowling, golf, trivia, etc.)
BBQ. I loveeee grilling and playing games in the sun and add a body of water and I'm in paradise. Luckily all my friends love doing just that so it's a common occurance. Although we haven't done too much of it yet this summer.. HINT HINT to my friend's who moved into a HOUSE with a YARD

9. In your opinion, which is the number one party school in the country and why?
I have no fucking clue. Really tho. I mean a lot of the big universities are hammered always. UMass, Mizzou are both schools I've heard crazzzy stories from. The biggest party schools I visited were probably Lehigh in PA and UConn. Spring weekend at UConn can fuck with you fo sho.

10. When do you know you have had too much to drink? What are your signals?
Cracking my knuckles is the first sign. I start doing it every couple minutes. Or getting irrationally upset with Tom. That one happened last night. (Sorry honey!) I also start craving wings and/or french fries.. although that's pretty common when I'm sober too.

I didn't do much research so if you're already nominated then celebrate twice as hard. And since a lot of the girls I would nominate I know have already been nominated I only picked 7 bloggers. Also I'm gonna nominate my best IRL friend HP because I think she should guest post and I wanna hear her answers.
